“Discover music through iTunes”

Goombah analyzes each member's iTunes collection and recommends new tracks, old favorites, and free music based on their taste in music. Goombah (beta) already has more than 3 million tracks in their members' collections from which to draw recommendations. Goombah users can:

  • Discover members with similar taste and get recommendations of music they really like that are not in your collection
  • Browse matching members' and friends' collections
  • Download free, quality MP3s based on their taste, and updated weekly for Goombah's Free Music Friday
  • Get additional recommendations based on part of their library, genre, artist, or even how "adventurous" they are feeling

Recent changes in Goombah:

  • User-Controlled Radio Player: Users can select all or some of their recommendations, as well as music from other members' libraries, and create a playlist of full-length tracks via Napster's service, free.
